THIS BLOG HAS BEEN MOVED TO FUCKYEAH-PIERCINGS.TUMBLR.COM, I WILL NO LONGER BE ANSWERING QUESTIONS OR POSTING SUBMISSIONS HERE. FEEL FREE TO ASK YOUR QUESTIONS AGAIN AT THE NEW BLOG.

When I started helping out with this blog, there was the owner, one other person and me. I was only added as a member, I was not given the email or password, so I am heavily restricted with what I can do with this blog. The original owner has disappeared and the other person no longer wishes to participate with this blog. She also does not have the email or password to the blog. I recently contacted her and between the two of us, we decided that starting a new blog would be best so I could have more accessand be more involved with the blog so I can help you all more.
perfectly-horrid: No, you're not an asshole, people are. You don't deserve those rude messages. You give advice out of your good will, even when people ask things that are cleary answered on your FAQ. If people don't like your answers, then they can damn well move their asses and go ask their local piercer.

Thank you. My thoughts exactly. I mean some things, I really understand people asking me. Like when their piercer has screwed up, or they can’t find what they’re looking for on the internet or if they can’t get to a piercer. But a lot of questions I get are answered on my FAQ page or easily found through google. And if they don’t like what I tell them, they can unfollow me and go talk to their local piercer.

bubble-bat: What are your favorite piercing blogs to follow? Also, great work with your advise, you're one of the few people that actually do things properly, these days. Keep up the good work. c:

There’s a whole lot of them, but two of my favorites are AwfulModifications and ModificationInspiration.

And thank you very much.

Anonymous: i'm the anon who originally posted the "hostile" message. i absolutely appreciate what you do for this blog, but i just think that it's unnecessary to act patronizing to people with genuine questions, even though they are obnoxious questions. you could easily say, "check out the FAQ!" and leave it at that.

Okay, look.

I DO politely post, “Look at the FAQ page, please”
But after doing that well over 50 times, I start getting bitched at by other followers.
And quite frankly, posting that so many times is getting old and redundant as well.

No matter what I do, I get bitched at.
I’m blunt. I get hate messages.
I get a little crabby, I get called a heartless bitch.
I’m nice. I get called a fake bitch.

What the fuck do you all want me to do?

If you don’t like what you’re seeing, then unfollow the damn blog.

I’m only human, I have emotions, I’m under a lot of stress, I’m ALLOWED to have bad days.

lucyyyfur: responding with 'sweetie' and 'hun' isn't going to change peoples opinion of you, because you're a jerk. Being nice won't hurt anyone.

Yeah, fuck you too.

stumplight: Just wanted to say thanks for having this page because it's really helpful and you don't act like an asshole at all? :P Goodness! xD

Thanks, sweetie.

p0cketcat-deactivated20120809: HAH. I like how you provided a logical, polite answer then someone got hostile with you. It's sad when people are literally too lazy to open a new tab and search google a bit for basic questions. Either way, I wanted to let you know you're definitely appreciated by a lot of people. ^__^

Thank you. It’s nice to know at least at least a few people appreciate the time I put into this blog.

nightofthesnowfox: lol @ the people who keep calling you an "asshole". This is a great page and you're very helpful. Thanks for making it! :)

Thank you so much, hun.

theyflickerandtheyfall: Dude, you literally signed up for that. Remove your tampon and delete this account or quit being a pompous asshole.

You know what, fuck you.
I volunteered to do this to help people out, not to sit here and listen to stupid fuckers like you. I am not a fucking asshole. I’m fucking tired of stupid twats like you.

Go fuck yourself.

Anonymous: why do you feel that being patronizing is helpful to anyone? people that trust you are asking honest questions and you're really being an asshole about it.

I’m not being an asshole, actually.

Why don’t you try sorting through mass amounts of redundant questions because people can’t look at a simple FAQ page or flip through a previous page or two to find the answer to the same exact question, without getting a little crabby every now and then?

I do feel honoured that people trust me with these questions, but it’s a HUGE pain in the ass when people can’t use common sense, look at a faq page or, for god’s sake, try doing a little of their own research.

I am NOT being an asshole.

Anonymous: I got my nose pierced a few weeks ago, and while cleaning it, I noticed that it's not straight through my nose. It's pierced at an angle, so the outside hole is higher than the hole inside my nose. Is that ok? I'm just worried that when I change my piercing to a stud, it might not sit right?

Most nose piercings are at somewhat of an angle. If it’s bothering you, let it close and have it redone.

+
p0stponement: I'd really like to get a smiley, but my friend got it done and it made her become ill so her doctor told her to take out the piercing. Are there usually any side effects like that? or are they just random cases?

A piercing should never make you sick. Either she didn’t take care of it or the piercer screwed up.

+
Anonymous: I want a surface piercing and several tattoos. But my pain level is VERY low and I'm a bit afraid of needles. But I really want tattoos and a piercing. Should I just face my fear and get those?

If dealing with pain is something you’re worried about, then you aren’t ready to get them or you don’t want them bad enough.

Anonymous: hi, i was thinking about getting a triple forward helix piercing, i've read various comments about this piercing and im not sure which ones are true. How serious would you consider the pain to be?

Are you kidding me?
